Projects that deepen the children’s interest and excitement in place-based learning are brought by mentors during this time.ĥ - Explore Time/Expedition. EverWilders have free time to explore, play, connect with their surroundings, experiment, and learn. Mentors go over safety, boundaries, and introduce a project or plan for the day.ģ - Exploration and Project. EverWilders gather together in Circle to connect and share gratitude. This is where the EverWilders will make their home in nature for the day.Ģ - Morning Gathering and Snack. Registration is required.Whether explorers are hopping into a van to their destination or hiking in after a drop-off, here’s how their EverWild Day will flow!ġ - Hike in and set up Base Camp. 'Wild Winter with EverWild Forest School' classes will take place outside (weather permitting) so please dress accordingly! You are invited to bring a blanket or two for an extra cozy outdoor experience!Įach class is limited to 15 children. These classes will introduce families to EverWild Forest School's 'Tots & Trees' and 'Early Learning' programs, which are available throughout the year at a variety of locations around the Treasure Valley. This series is aimed for children ages 2-6 years old. The program leader facilitates connections between young children and nature while offering appropriate sensory challenges to support development. Parents/caregivers maintain consistent supervision and involvement with their child throughout the entirety of the program. EverWild Forest School is excited to help parents and caregivers introduce the beauty and wonder of our natural world to little ones with their new Wild Winter series! This program focuses on experimenting with natural materials and stimuli to help develop fine and gross motor skills, curiosity, and cause-and-effect.
